Safe Vaping Consumer Report - NCIA
Released in January 2020, the Safe Vaping Consumer Report is an independent, science-driven initiative developed to provide the public with clear, non-biased information about vaping products in the U.S. Created in collaboration with public health professionals and scientific reviewers, the report offers consumers evidence-based insights to help them make safer, more informed decisions around nicotine use.
LMI+D was responsible for developing the visual identity and full report design. The layout system was built to communicate credibility, clarity, and neutrality—presenting complex scientific findings in an approachable, well-organized format. Through a restrained color palette, strong typographic hierarchy, and simple iconography, the design helps guide readers through categorized risk levels and product comparisons without overwhelming or sensationalizing the content.
In addition to designing the full report, LMI+D created a custom logomark and visual framework to establish a cohesive and trustworthy brand presence. The end result is a highly readable and impactful public health resource that communicates serious scientific content with integrity and clarity.
