PURPOSEFUL DESIGN.
A COMPLETE BRAND EXPERIENCE.
Your conference has a lot to bring together: attendees, sponsors, speakers, and an organization’s reputation. The design should make it all feel connected.
LMI+D develops distinctive conference branding and carries it across the materials and spaces that shape the experience—from early promotion and sponsor communications to signage and the moment attendees arrive. A clear creative direction, close collaboration with your team, and careful attention to production guide the work from concept to completion.

Our Approach
01 — Understand the Assignment
Every project begins with your organization, your audience, and what you need to accomplish. We discuss goals, existing brand materials, timelines, and production requirements to establish a clear scope and shared direction.
02 — Establish the Creative Direction
We develop a visual concept that fits your message and gives the work a distinctive identity. Typography, color, imagery, and layout are considered together, with your team’s feedback helping refine the direction before it extends across the project.
03 — Connect Every Element
The approved direction carries through each application—from promotional materials and publications to digital assets, signage, and event environments. Each piece serves its own purpose while contributing to a recognizable, cohesive experience.
04 — Carry it Through
We prepare final artwork and coordinate with your team, printers, and production partners to address specifications and maintain consistency. For ongoing clients, that support continues across new initiatives and annual events, building on an established understanding of your organization.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should we bring LMI+D into our conference planning?
As early as possible, ideally before promotional materials and sponsorship communications begin. Establishing the creative direction early helps connect those first materials with the eventual onsite experience. Timing depends on the scope, review process, and production deadlines; we’ll discuss those requirements before work begins.
Can you work within our existing brand guidelines?
Yes. LMI+D can extend an established identity across new materials or develop a conference identity that complements your organization’s brand. We review your guidelines and existing assets at the outset to understand what should remain consistent and where there is room for a distinctive event expression.
Can you collaborate with our internal marketing or events team?
Yes. LMI+D works alongside marketing, communications, and event teams, as well as outside vendors. We establish responsibilities, review milestones, and delivery requirements so the design fits your team’s workflow and supports the larger project.
Do you coordinate with printers and event production vendors?
Yes. LMI+D prepares production-ready artwork and coordinates with printers, exhibit fabricators, signage providers, and other production partners as needed. This includes reviewing specifications, adapting artwork to required formats, and addressing design-related production questions. The extent of that coordination is defined in the project scope.
Do you take on individual projects as well as ongoing partnerships?
Yes. Engagements can focus on a specific need, such as a publication, visual identity, or event, or continue across recurring communications and annual conferences. We’ll recommend a scope based on your priorities, timing, and the support your organization needs.
How do we get started, and how is pricing determined?
Start with a conversation about your goals, audience, deliverables, budget, and deadlines. Project fees reflect the scope, complexity, schedule, and level of production coordination required. Following that discussion, LMI+D provides a proposal outlining the work, fees, and anticipated timeline.
