Picture Show 2002 // Graphic Artists Guild of New York
A print campaign celebrating independent illustration.
Picture Show 2002, the Graphic Artists Guild of New York’s illustration marketplace, needed promotional materials that showcased participating artists while giving the event a cohesive identity. Linda Modica combined their diverse artwork with bold typography and inventive print layouts across an onsite booklet, a mailed invitation with an attached admission ticket, and a promotional postcard. The Guild’s mission statement, arranged around its logo, placed the organization’s purpose at the center of the design.
